Being busy never meant you were done learning.

Funny thing about life, nobody tells you how quickly a seder can turn into a schedule.

One day you’re arguing over a Tosfos like your life depends on it. The next, you’re arguing with someone named Kevin about an invoice that’s 60 days late. There are meetings, mortgages, carpools, clients, dinner, another email marked urgent, and somewhere between making a living and making it home, three hours in a sugya becomes two, then one, then maybe tomorrow.

Tomorrow, as it turns out, has meetings too.

But that lingering hunger is still there, a little voice in your head, gnawing at your conscience.

You’re still curious, still itching to learn, still perfectly capable of getting worked up over a machlokes, and waving your thumb in the air like you just don’t care. You just can’t always make it to the beis medrash at 8:15 on a Tuesday night.

That doesn’t mean the beis medrash can’t make it to you.

V’asafta pairs you with a yungerman for serious, one-on-one learning, on your schedule, in your place, and in the sugya you want to learn. Because being busy never meant you were done learning. It just meant learning needed a new address.

Kovea itim, you set the time,
V’asafta meets you there.

A few things people ask

Questions, answered.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the arrangement, but most chavrusa partnerships are around $150 per week.

When can I learn?

Whenever works for you. Morning, night, once a week, every day — the schedule is built around your life.

How long is each seder?

As long as you want. We’ll build the seder around the time you actually have.

What can I learn?

Anything you want. Gemara, Halacha, Chumash, hashkafa, a specific masechta, a sugya, or something else entirely.

How does the matching work?

Tell us what you want to learn, when you want to learn, and what kind of chavrusa you’re looking for. We’ll find the right yungerman and make the match.

What if I don’t like my chavrusa?

Call us. If it’s not the right fit, we’ll match you with someone new.

Can I change my schedule or what I’m learning?

Of course. The whole point is that the seder works around you, not the other way around.

Is it tax-deductible?

Yes. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

You make the time.
We’ll make the match.

V’asafta handles the match around the realities of your life, so you can sit down, open the Gemara, and learn.
